DotNetBrowser CRA Status

As a commercial software product available on the EU market, DotNetBrowser is within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2024/2847, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

Ready for CRA

DotNetBrowser is developed by TeamDev, a software company headquartered in the European Union, and is made available to customers in the EU market. That makes DotNetBrowser subject to the CRA, and we approach its development accordingly.

We follow secure development practices: we track vulnerabilities in Chromium and other third-party dependencies, update DotNetBrowser regularly, and publish SBOMs for DotNetBrowser releases.

We continuously assess how the CRA applies to DotNetBrowser, including product classification, essential cybersecurity requirements, vulnerability handling, security update processes, technical documentation, and conformity-assessment obligations.

As CRA-related standards and guidance mature, we are adapting our internal processes and product documentation to support regulatory readiness and provide customers with clear security and supply-chain information about DotNetBrowser.

Software bill of materials (SBOM)

Starting with DotNetBrowser 4.1.1, we publish SBOMs for DotNetBrowser releases. Older releases may not include an SBOM.

Communication about vulnerabilities

We inform users about security updates and fixed vulnerabilities in the DotNetBrowser release notes. For broader security-related communication, we use the DotNetBrowser blog and existing customer support channels.
